May 1982, this 40' standard box car with single door
and without roofwalk was painted in this unique CP Rail paint scheme. It is red
with a black triangle on a white semi-circle. The lettering is black and white.
The ‘multi-mark’ is the road’s expression of its corporate identity. The white
semi-circle represents the globe. The triangle represents CP Rail’s reach,
spanning the globe, and the solid background of the car symbolizes the solidity
of the company. The American Car & Foundry originally built number CP 55947
in September 1957
